Why We Created SimpleChex
SimpleChex was created to solve a problem that weai??i??ve faced many times as
entrepreneurs; how to collect payment for services without having to incur the cost of credit card processing fees, the risk of credit card chargebacks, or waiting for the check to arrive in the mail. Standard merchant processing accounts are not only expensive but they required us to personally qualify with good credit and provide a personal guarantee with long-term contracts. Paypal doesnai??i??t require upfront qualification but they once held over $7,000 or our hard-earned receipts for over two months while they ai???qualifiedai??? us personally and our business. The non-traditional merchant processors like PayPal, Stripe, Square, and a host of others are private companies and not federally regulated the same as traditional merchant processors so they can hold your money for any reason at any time for as long as they would like. Our business cannot afford that risk! Can yours?
In 2017 we learned about an online check writing software with a monthly subscription program that would allow us to write a check on the clientai??i??s behalf and deposit the check into our own bank account. This seemed to be a great solution for our business! Unfortunately, the online service that we subscribed to lacked many critical features. It was affordable, but not as comprehensive as we needed it to be. Others programs had some of the features we were looking for but they were very expensive and still did not have all of the features we were seeking. So, we decided to do what we often do, create our own check writing software and create in with features that would be useful to businesses in every industry, at a super affordable price.
SimpleChex was created in a modular fashion to allow the subscriber to pay for only the features that are important to them. We love all of the features and now that we have them available to us we cannot imagine ever being without SimpleChex!
